 Lift Truck Chain Overland Park - Overland Park (population 173,372) is located in Kansas State and is a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri. Situated within the County of Johnson, Overland Park is bounded by Lenexa, Olathe, Leawood and Prairie Village. It is the largest suburb of Kansas City.
The founder of Overland Park was William B. Strang Jr., who established the city in the year 1905. He envisioned communities of subdivisions that were self-sustaining and "park-like". Among these was Overland Park, a successful experiment that saw continuing growth until its incorporation as a city in the year 1960. The city of Overland Park boomed in the 1980s as the number of companies and inhabitants skyrocketed. By the end of that decade, the population was over 100,000.
Overland Park and Kansas City have numerous cultural attractions to offer visitors. The Nerman Museum has the largest selection of contemporary art within the Midwest. The New Theatre Restaurant is a popular place which has been referred to as "the best dinner theatre in the country." The Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens offers a remarkable series of gardens accessible by trails on a 300-acre location that includes a children's discovery garden and waterfalls. The Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead is a favorite with children who could take a ride on a horse-drawn wagon, tour an early-20th century farmhouse replica and see farm animals.

Numerous Fortune 500 companies have headquarters here, like for example YRC Worldwide, Black & Veatch, Waddell & Reed, Examinetics, Ash Grove Cement Company and Ferrellgas.
The education sector within the city provides a lot of jobs within Overland Park. There is the Johnson County Community College and the Blue Valley, Shawnee Mission, Olathe School districts and Spring Hill.
