Lift Truck Chain Renton - Situated within the state of Washington is the King County city of Renton. The city of Renton is located 21 km southeast of Seattle within an area called the Eastside. The city serves as a manufacturing center and supports a population of around 91,000 people. The city lies along lake Washington's southeast shore. The city of Renton is the 4th most densely inhabited metropolis in King County and 9th biggest within Washington.

Founded during the 1860s, Renton was incorporated as a city during the year 1901. Erasmus M. Smithers discovered coal here in the 1800s. Coal and timber resources were plentiful, and both timber processing and mining became the key economic businesses in the area. The city was a supply center for the Newcastle coal fields. Renton's proximity to the Cedar and Black Rivers made the city susceptible to flooding until the construction of the Lake Washington Ship Canal during 1916 lowered the level of Lake Washington a few feet. The Cedar River was diverted to Lake Washington and drainage through the Black River was eliminated.

The city of Renton ranks 100th of 522 areas within the state of Washington according to per capita income. The city has a lot of technology companies like for example Boeing, Paccar, and some dot-com businesses. IKEA moved to the city of Renton in the year 1994 and in 2007 a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) branch established itself here. In 2008, a new Federal Reserve Bank branch moved to the city of Renton.

The city is busy with a variety of major residential and retail developments. The city of Renton has gone through some revitalization projects. One of the most significant is the Virginia Mason Athletic Center (or also referred to as VMAC), housing the Seattle Seahawks Headquarters and training facility, completed in 2008. This is the second biggest NFL facility. Situated within north Renton, the Center has an area of 19,000 m2.
